Underlying our Leadership Embodiment work are the dynamics of yin-yang. A constant relational conversation between masculine and feminine principles, revealed through the breath, movement, posture, space and more.
In this workshop we will practice and inquire into our LE practices through this lens while also working with a short simple tai chi form, breathwork and sound. Tai chi is sometimes also referred to as Tai Ji. ‘Tai’ represents the person, open and present. ‘Chi’ is universal life force. ‘Ji’ is the relationship of integrated complimentary opposites, yin-yang.
Yin is sometimes referred to as sanctity and yang as potency. Together they form two wings of the bird. As complimentary forces and principles, Yin is always alive in Yang and Yang in Yin. We will inquire into power and aesthetics, our patterns of opening and closing, focus and flow, musicality and effectiveness as we explore,
Deepening our inquiry into somatic narratives that influence movement
Patterns of holding and containment
Celebrating and increasing vitality and the flow of chi through the three centres
Using the breath consciously to create more flow
How we use space in the eight directions
Working more consciously with the space between us
Increasing capacity to be with what is and proactively respond
We will also work with the inquiries you bring. So I warmly invite you to join this small group dive into your somatic and embodied practice.
The fee for the workshop is £290 + VAT
