I recently completed the NLP Practitioner course which focused on using NLP as a coach with Marie Faire, The Beyond Partnership Ltd. This six month intensive course was everything I had been seeking and much, much more. Going into the course, I had very limited knowledge of NLP and I came out with a new found perspective, not only of my self, but also with regards to how I may best help my clients to succeed.
The intimate nature of the course and the small group was perfect. Throughout the course we had ample opportunity to act as coach and client to practice the skills we were learning. While I did know some of the participants going in, there were quite a few I had never met. Marie and her co-facilitators made it their priority to create a safe and nurturing environment for everyone. At all times I felt as if my privacy and my safety was considered in even the most raw and tender moments when I was in the role of client.
Having multiple facilitators, each with years of NLP experience, was a great advantage as a new student. This allowed us to break into smaller groups so that we could practice what we have been learning. They guided us to gain our own understandings and shared their insights with us as well. We were encouraged to meet outside of our scheduled time for practice and often the facilitators would join us if they were available. Their dedication to our growth in NLP was amazing.
I cannot begin to describe the growth I experienced as a coach for my clients and as a person. If you were to ask me if this course is worth the commitment, hands down I would give you an emphatic YES.
