This section will tell you a little about Beyond and those who work with us.
We are here to make a difference and to help people go beyond. Our work is about supporting, developing and enabling people, individually and together, in teams and organisations, to become the best they can be; to go beyond where they are now. We are also here to provide a rich programme of open workshops and programmes, providing leading edge, meaningful, substantive and sustainable development.
The ways we do that and the approaches we use are varied and yet are deeply connected. A key word in our work is integration, the bringing together of parts into a coherent high performing whole. This is true of our work and how we work with our clients. We will support you, challenge you and go the extra mile for you.

We (Paul King and Marie Faire) started The Beyond Partnership in 2003 after working as independent coaches, trainers and consultants for 15+ years. Our vision was to create an organisation to enable us to do more than we could do individually and specifically to provide a platform to offer leading edge personal and professional development open programmes and events alongside our direct client work.
We believe there is an imperative for change in organisations for the health and wellbeing of people, of organisations themselves and of society at large. We have been delighted with what we have achieved since we started and have been blessed with the people who are now part of the Beyond team and by the people we have met along the way.
For us our life and work is about making a difference. We coined the name Beyond since it is a vision and concept that links us, our attitudes, our orientation and what we offer. Significant learning and change takes place at one’s edge not within our comfort zone – we have to be prepared to go beyond what we already do and know. We ourselves are by nature explorers of ideas and our own experience. We are also pragmatists, we bring to our clients the best of what we discover and the best of what works.
We work with individuals, teams and organisations to realise potential, raise performance and to become more successful and fulfilled, but not at the expense of others. Beyond to us means the next step and beyond the next step. We link now to the future, offering tools and processes for self maintained on-going development and for making a positive contribution. We support and facilitate others to move from where they are to where they want to be. We take account of context and take a systemic perspective.
We work collaboratively with our clients and are committed to them. We are often told that we are “not like other consultants” which is always good to hear.
Beyond works with the full dimension of human experience; mind, body, emotions and spirit. Success, fulfillment and enjoyment come when one is fully engaged, present and aligned. This is a common theme in our work – facilitating alignment with respect to identity, values, what you do and how you do it, on the path to become the best you can be.
As well our shared capabilities and interests, each of us within Beyond have our own areas of expertise and passion which along with the breadth of our experience may explain the range of what we offer. Yet there is always a common core of deep sustainable change and development, and enjoyable and meaningful experiential learning, not superficial quick fixes which don’t sustain and don’t really make a difference.
Our public programme presents our own workshops and those of invited guest presenters who we feel have something special and important to offer concerning the human condition, human potential and creating a future to which we want to belong.
