We have been partnering with David since 2005, bringing workshops and the unique salons format to many people in that time.
We are in conversation with David and awaiting clarification of his diary to create an intensive salon with him for a limited number of people. We are thinking this will be a two day, or maybe three day event.
David is first and foremost a poet. His work has struck a resonant chord within organisations and the personal and professional development arenas around the world. He is an inspiring speaker who, with a poet’s insight, speaks to our human condition, and to the core of the challenges individuals and organisations face today and offers a vision for the way ahead.
His engagement with organisations often focuses around his work on Conversational Leadership.
His most recent work in 2019 for Beyond has been two presentations:
The Courage in Poetry: Understanding the Relationship between Vitality and Vulnerability
The Conversational Frontiers of a Human Life
David’s client list includes: Astra Zenica, The Boeing Company, Deloitte & Touche, Innogy, The Industrial Society, Lucent Technology, Mattel, McKinsey, Microsoft, Nasa, Novartis, The Royal Air Force, Standard Chartered Bank, Stanford University, State of the World Forum, Said Business School, University of Oxford, Toyota, Unilever & Visa International.
He has published nine books of poetry including River Flow New & Selected Poems and his latest collection The Bell & The Blackbird published in 2018. David is also the author of the best selling prose books, The Heart Aroused, Crossing the Unknown Sea, The Three Marriages: Reimagining Work, Self and Relationships and Consolations.
“Keep this book (Consolations) by your bedside forever. I know that I will. Beautiful, elegant, tiny essays on the consoling power of words, written by one of my favourite living poets. I think Whyte is as much a mystic as an author, and this book proves it. Beautiful, soulful, thoughtful.” — Elizabeth Gilbert, author of “Eat, Pray Love” & “The Signature of All Things”
“Everyone I met was raving about him. The delegates were like a ‘who’s who’ of British Industry and Whyte stole the show.”
