David Richo

David Richo has been a significant influence on us for the past twenty years. He has a deeply rich understanding of the human condition and an engaging style. We are delighted to host Dave’s workshops on his visits to the UK.

Dave is a psychotherapist, teacher, and writer who draws upon Jungian, Buddhist, and poetic perspectives in his work and is an extraordinary and wise author and teacher about the human condition. He leads popular workshops at the famous Esalen Institute, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of California at Santa Barbara, and Santa Barbara City College.

Dave is the author of many books including, How to Be an Adult, How to Be an Adult in Relationships, Shadow Dance: Liberating the Power and Creativity of Your Dark Side, The Five Things We Cannot Change and the Happiness We Find by Embracing Them, When the Past is Present, Daring to Trust, How to be an Adult in Love: Letting Love in Safely and Showing it Recklessly and most recently, The Five Longings: What We’ve Always Wanted And Already Have.

He presents a rare clear and coherent description of the link between psychological work and spiritual work. The insights and clarity he offers into our life’s journey and our relationships are true gifts for those who want to live their lives more authentically and help others to do the same. What he teaches can be applied to successful living and relationships inside organisations.

Dave ran a highly successful workshop for us last September and we hope he will be back again soon.
