I am a coach, trainer and consultant working with individuals and groups, primarily from the not-for-profit sector. I became a coach after 25 years of senior leadership experience in the areas of conflict transformation, peacebuilding and organizational culture change.
As a small child, I had a deep sense of fairness, which in time, turned into a passionate desire to contribute to making our world more equitable, just and sustainable. It took me many years to realize that to transform the world, I needed to first transform myself.
Learning to befriend and reshape my nervous system through the lens of Polyvagal Theory was a game changer for me. Since training with Deb Dana, the approach has become a cornerstone of my own life and my coaching practice. I was privileged to support the inaugural Foundations of Polyvagal-Informed Practice course as a consultant working directly with Deb in 2020, and then as a co-trainer in 2021.
Committed to supporting others in the use of this powerful approach, I am delighted to be part of a community of people working to advance the use of a polyvagal-informed approach to life.
I did my coach training and C.ORE Energy Leadership Specialist training through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). I have an MA in Anthropology and a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Analysis and Transformation. I am a member of the ICF and the Institute of Coaching (IOC).
